These courses are designed to support the training for activTek Environmental, a Tennessee-based manufacturer of IAQ equipment. Included in this section is a 1-Day entry level course to introduce the student to indoor air quality solutions and the commercial products offered by activTek. Training also includes mold training certified by NORMI.

Mission Statement

activTek Environmental's mission is to become the total solution provider for all air and water quality problems in commercial buildings and residential new construction. Our role is to provide high quality products and services to our Commercial Dealers and Distributors and to provide the resources required to serve the commercial accounts, including collateral material, web support, financing options, customer support, and scientific evidence of the efficacy of our products.

activTek Environmental is located in Greeneville, Tennessee, and markets and sells air and water purification products to the commercial market and to residential new construction.

activTek Environmental was established in 2007, based on a 15 year history of proven, pioneering success in the air purification industry. Using principles found in nature, the company uses technologies to duplicate natural processes indoors and entrusts our authorized Commercial Dealers and Distributors to share them with the world.

We have identified five distinct vertical markets that constitute our commercial business; the heating and air conditioning industry, residential new construction, the hospital and medical facility market, the food service industry, and general commercial. For each of these 5 market segments, we have the skill set and sales distribution network to be expert in that market, which includes product application knowledge, knowledge of the competitive landscape, and unique marketing and selling expertise in that particular market segment.

IAQ (Indoor Air Quality) Basic Training 101

This training has been specifically designed to instruct you on the technologies involved in cleaning air indoors. Traditionally, the indoor air quality industry was built around filtration and, although filtration is a very important part of the process, it is not the silver bullet or magic wand that can solve every IAQ problem.
