NCCI™
NORMI™ Certified
Contents Inspector

NORMI™ Certified Contents Inspector (NCCI) provides training and certification credibility to contents inspectors.

When a military family moves, the goods are sometimes improperly handled or stored and so mold results.  This class (endorsed by CPPC.org—Claims Prevention and Procedures Council) allows you to become a part of a pool of professionals who helps the insurance carrier evaluate the contents and determine whether they should be discards or cleaned.  When remediation is needed, you would be there.

The NCCI™ (NORMI™ Certified Contents Inspector) assesses contents after they have been delivered to a site following a transit move.  Often those contents have been weathered or improperly stored resulting in microbial contamination.  The student will understand how take samples and interpret the results so the client can better know the recommended disposition to either repair, clean or replace contents.  An Excel Spreadsheet is provided to help the professional itemize the contents, classify the contamination level, document the information collected and indicate the disposition allowing the professional to easily produce a report for the clients.  Having this certification gives the professional the credibility he needs to substantiate his findings.

NOTE from the Executive Director: We are offering this class FREE to ACTIVE NORMI members on June 15. Become a member at JOIN.NORMI.org. Once you join and login to the normi.org member section, you will find a link to register for the free class.

The exam will be offered the following Tuesday, and the Certification Exam Fee is $50.
